Hot off the press! When I started driving tours nearly a decade ago I was required to get a cell phone to be able to call for help on tours, prior to that I did without a phone for 5 years. There were plenty of old guys back then who didn't want a smart phone but over the years they joined the dark side; now only Kid Carson and I are left. Ironically, if I break down somewhere on tours, I rarely have cell service.
