#iums crashes out of the NCAAs at home to St. Louis. Somehow a fitting end to this bizarrely ungood season.
Tough season ends for 14-seed #iums as they are bounced out of the NCAA tournament by 3-seed Denver 1-0.
It’s still 1-0 Denver at the half over #iums and I just realized I posted “man’s” soccer earlier instead of “men’s” so Imma just get into the sea right now
I totally forgot about #iums (Indiana man’s soccer) at Denver in the NCAAs. Unfortunately the Hoosiers gave up an early goal right before I flipped over.
Indiana 0-1 Akron at the half in the men’s soccer tournament. Akron had to go their freshman backup GK for the last seven minutes or so due to injury but IU made no measurable attack. We’ll see if the starter returns. IU GK Harms also got hurt but stayed in. #iums
Way too easy goal for Akron off a corner. Hoosiers down 0-1, 27’ #iums
Tomorrow afternoon: #iums on the big screen, #Colts on the laptop, #iuwbb radio play-by-play on the phone, Heather probably packing her things and leaving me due to sports-related spousal neglect. Big day!
Happy to see IU men’s soccer #iums get another tournament bid this afternoon. Season started really rough, got _much_ better, then ended surprisingly quickly in the B1G tournament. Anything could happen on Sunday when they play (Probably) Akron in the NCAA second round.

Many American soccer fans prefer Europe's best to MLS, and emotionally invest themselves in a club they can't locate on a map in a country they might not locate on a map. I can respect enjoying the highest level of play.

I prefer college soccer, where only the best players will even make it to MLS, but the crest means something to me. Sticking it to Michigan means more than sticking it to Manchester.

Tonight we stuck it to Michigan. It was glorious.

We’ve probably lost more nattys than any other school has played in. Hats off to this #IUMS team. #Q49 continues. #IU #Hoosiers #collegecup
