@stuartl for Example not-so-long ago I had an minor issue getting me an engine light.
I went to my trusted independent car repair shop and they were able to diagnose the issue within seconds and get a replacement part installed within an hour.
That kept the repair bill low.
And that should be the norm for everything - and not the #figleaf #PR smoke that #Apple does with the #IRPP & "#SelfRepair" program.
Opel forfeilted their rights to my car in the moment it was sold to a customer -forever.
