While #Artemis2 is minutes from launching to the Moon after 54 years, #Perseverance sends its good luck wishes with the image of a rock.

… but on Mars, it's just Tuesday.

In a similar situation #Curiosity had crashed pure yellow sulfur with one of its wheels. This crashed rock isn't yellow.

RE: https://social.numerique.gouv.fr/@irap/116204490713256895

I often and loudly express my disappointment for posts appearing on websites of scientific institutions that are thin in or lack scientific content. A recent paper by Cornel researchers called similar texts "corporate BS".

Here is a short scientific post, containing pure information for people with a scientific background or interest in space and science.

Maybe assigning a Signal-to-Noise-Ratio (SNR) to posts and articles could help implement a BS filter?

This post's SNR: ∞ dB

Here is the other side of that same thin rock, half an hour before the laser started blasting it. Expect to read more about how this little wedge of thin rock formed, in scientific papers, in due time. There are may of them around this place.
