Phoned my GP and the staff are great. Needed to book an appointment and the earliest I can get is a telephone appointment in a month.

It's devastating how the #NHS is struggling and I entirely put the blame at the feet of the Tory government who have spent years systematically destroying and profiting from our amazing health system.

I accidentally took one of Kit's meds. The toxicology people at 111 looked everything up and told me not to worry. #ILoveTheNHS

Afterwards:
K: was the doctor from Liverpool?
M: you could hear her from over there?
K: oh no, but I could hear your voice and you pick up other people's accents.

So there we go.

First off, spoiler: I am okay.

Last night I was rushed to hospital with what was at the time suspected to be a heart attack. Turns out it was nowhere near so serious, and I'm now home and basically fine, but I'd just like to state once again that #ILoveTheNHS. Thanks to everyone at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary who looked after me so well.

Guess who's off her breathing machine again today and doing great! With whispers of a discharge in the near future.
