So after reading a bit into the #packetradio #netrom protocol used in #amateurradio, Net/ROM is fixed to 236 byte packets if I read that right? Is there an improved protocol for routing ( #flexnet is closed-source) on top of #il2p (evolution of #ax25 ) ?

Installed #Direwolf 1.7 for its #IL2P support. If you get "undefined symbol _lock_mode" from rigctl(d) right afterwards, apt-get remove libhamlib4, and reinstall it (https://rigpi.net/help/installing-the-latest-hamlib.html).

I just updated VE3VTY's website https://radiorabbit.ca/ve3vty/ with a "live" mheard that updates every 5 minutes. It will show mheard for #ax25, #ardop and #il2p HF ports. It uses a fantastic rube goldberg of expect/telnet/awk&sed to bring this info to the webserver. You love to see it! If you're curious about #packetradio you should totally check it out!
