I almost got it at the same time as Tragic Kingdom, but I was just barely short on cash and had to choose one or the other. One month later, it ended up being the second album I ever bought with my own money. Here’s one of my favorites from the album: “Amaranth”.

Ooh, I like this week’s #TuneTuesday prompt: #IBoughtItFirst.
The first album I ever bought with my own money was No Doubt’s Tragic Kingdom back in eighth grade. I already had “Just a Girl” from iTunes, and I had just gotten into the song “Spiderwebs”, so I took a chance and bought the CD. It’s still one of my favorites today. Here’s my favorite track from it, which has the same name as the album:
