Apparently "Marine Corp Vehicles Approaching Rest Area Now" (as of 1:15pm PT) - they stopped all traffic at 12:36pm again.
Looks like quite a confusion about what is or isn't closing (per CHP log) now on the I-5....
Sounds like they are going to run a traffic break INSTEAD of closing the freeway.
