The pinnacle of the animation work we develop in How to Train Your Robot Chapter 4 is moving a spaceship around in a biologically inspired way. It was a bit of self-indulgence to take the reader down the rabbit holes I descended during my PhD. This is the ultimate in free space point-to-point #HumanMovement : overlapping logit-norm speed profiles. It's supposed to look like a toddler waving a toy ship around in the air.
