I'm happy that #HuYetao made it into the group (well it wasn't in much doubt) but sad that he didn't get the centre position that he wanted.
It seemed like #Dorn might have been genuinely upset that Hu Yetao didn't get centre. Dorn seems to be really focused on the people around him, wanting them to do well and get what they want to be happy and thrive. I don't think his own position is as important to him.
#ThiO is wonderful too but he's more of a soloist and not as familiar with working with a group.
Dorn is going to make a great leader I think.

"Rose Blossom" team: I am losing my shit over #Xiong's tiny hat. He looks like he belongs in a Japanese butler cafe.
Could do without the cringey bits with trainees at the beach yelling stuff. I loved that #Dorn made it all about #Plengthai though.
I didn't want to like #Bianura but he seems like a genuinely lovable dude and he's won me over.
#Wuxun is another one who keeps convincing me to love him a bit more every week.
"Feel Special" team #HuYetao oh no his singing is a bit shit but he's so incredibly campy and adorable so I don't care. ohh and he gets a romantic moment with #Yuchen towards the end 💞
"Happy" team yay #DAY6 cover ... hmm but the backing track is insipid and the singing isn't really the right vibe. Apart from #ThiO -- he's such a good singer, I love him.
"Bodyguard" team did not impress me as much as I'd hoped, but also the camerawork was not great and it was hard to tell what was going on.
It does seem like they're actually singing live now, because there are some dodgy moments with the vocals. Peanut's singing was pretty wobbly but his visual was perfect. He looks like he belongs in ATEEZ.
#Dorn was yet again a standout. He's so good and he deserves to be in the #1 spot even though I want it to go to #HuYetao
"If You Do" team was ... okay?? I normally expect a bigger gap in between the performances and wasn't paying proper attention uh-oh.
I know most of the others have lots more training and experience, but I still have a soft spot for #Aguang and I wouldn't mind if he made it into the debut group.
Ninja was good too. He always impresses me. But aaaaaah I don't *care* about whether he gets in and I don't know why.
"Liar" team OH FUCK YES.
Starting with the other boys all doing some choreographed manhanding of Yetao yes good. And later on he gets choked by two of them at once. Someone has been poking around in my brain and putting the contents on a performance stage.

OMG an actual Thai BL sexy romantic duo ballad these boys are about to eat each other on stage. On a Chinese show. Wow.
Watching the #ChuangAsiaS2 debut night live and I expect it to be a trainwreck but I'm going to watch it anyway.

but also Peanut, for these important reasons:
* #Hyunjin is his favourite idol
* Princess Yetao has been entertaining many suitors (and I love that for him) but it seems Peanut has pulled ahead of the pack and may be the current preferred suitor
* Peanut is pretty and can sing and dance and is a bit silly

Looking at the results of the first vote, it confirms my expectation that #HuYetao, #Thi_O and #Dorn have a lock on the top 3 places.
Anyone else currently in the top 35 could still make it into the debut group if they have a couple of great performances and get some love and screen time from the producers.
Pray and #Shoya are outside chances and could still make it. Shoya keeps serving cunt every time and I don't want him to go, but it's possible the Chuang audience isn't yet ready for that level of cuntiness. Pray is cute and smart and now that I think about it, his story reminds me of Xiao Zhan (who also gave up his day job & decided to have a go at being an idol around the same age, 26 I think).
I might be on the verge of shipping Hu Yetao, #Yuchen and #YaoZihao as a triad, so I want Yetao's two boyfies to stay and keep him company of course.
Next week's stages will include covers of "Python" (GOT7) and "Mic Drop" (BTS) and oh nooo "When We Disco" by JYP omg whyyyyyy. Also some other songs that have names that are too widely used for me to be able to figure out who they're covering ("Crush", "Original", "I Dream"), and a Chinese song that I don't know ("Last Fireworks of the Summer Night").
