Ook veelgesteld: Hoeveel websites ik inmiddels heb? Ik denk een stuk of 7-8. De meeste websites zijn gemaakt met een statische generator #Hugo. Dat wil zeggen ik typ iets in, zoals informatie van een databestand of juist van een artikel. Met een commando wordt hij dan verwerkt tot een bijgewerkte #website of #blog.

Waarom meerdere websites? Focus per onderwerp. Mijn doel is een eigen web maken van websites ieder met hun eigen doel, samen een puzzelstukje in het grotere geheel. 1/*

So Leute, wenn ich alles korrekt eingerichtet habe, dann sollte ab sofort jeder Mastodon-Nutzer, der eine meiner Domains als Link verwendet, mich automatisch als Autor verlinken.

Probiert das gern mal aus 😅
Und bei der Gelegenheit: Wie gefällt euch mein neuer #Blog? Unter der Haube hat sich einiges getan! Ich habe #Hugo durch #Grav ersetzt.

Nur noch deutsche Texte. Nicht überladen, alles übersichtlich und schlicht gehalten.

BTW my test #Hugo installation is at https://tipa16384.github.io/wkblog/. There is still so very much to do, but it runs as of the test backup from January. When it is done, I'll move the chasingdings.com domain to it and it'll be live for realz.

TIL there's a smolweb theme for hugo (static site generator for websites).

I'm going to play around with it.

I don't need javascript, external fonts and eleventy cookie banners because of regulations.

Just a simple statically linked website of linked texts and pure HTML and CSS.

Spent some time looking at #BSSG today. If I weren't so invested in #Hugo I'd consider it. Still might try it on a simple site. The biggest downside I could see from the docs is it looks like BSSG only supports a single taxonomy ("tags"). My most active site uses four taxonomies, weighted to determine related posts. Also not a fan of markdown, but I've been developing web sites for ~30 years so I'm weird. I dream in HTML.
