Four restaurants or chefs from the Houston area were named finalists Wednesday for a James Beard Award — considered one of the highest honors in the restaurant industry.

Four Houston-area restaurants or chefs named 2025 James Beard Award finalists

In January, 13 restaurants or chefs from the Houston region were named as semifinalists. The awards will be presented in Chicago in June.
