@donaldjmorton @Climatologist49 @AlaskaWx @ZLabe The same sea ice pressure ridge keel gouging that apparently severed the fiber line could gouge out a subsea oil pipeline. I hope the side scan sonar survey that is/was used to predict where it’s safe to bury pipe is more accurate than that used for the comm lines. #HopeIsNotAPlan
