The #DOJ sued #Colorado on Wednesday over a #state #law banning #HighCapacityMagazines, which was passed after a 2012 #MassShooting at a movie theater in Aurora, CO. It was the second lawsuit in two days that the #Trump admin has filed against #GunControl policies in the #Democratic-controlled state.

#Maine congressman #JaredGolden, a #Democrat who was #conservative on #GunLaws, at a press conference on the #Lewiston #MassShooting just said he is changing his position to now #BanAssaultWeapons . He said he’ll use his remaining time in #Congress doing so.
#Republican Sen #SusanCollins, was asked directly if she’d do the same, she declined. She would only speak on #HighCapacityMagazines.
