Cattle gates! A fact of life in the remote cattle grazing areas in the West of the US. Sometimes they are like intelligence tests. Sometimes they require feats of Herculean strength. Sometimes there are extra bits and pieces that you *know* would help to close them, if only you could figure out how. And sometimes they seem designed to cut you up, with their barbed wire (the hoops always seem to use barbed wire, though not in this case).
