Australia Public/Private Healthcare System :

1.Public Subsidizes to Private Insurers not value for money.

2.Public System would cost less than Private Subsidies

3. Australia's Public/Private System waiting times longer than Canada Public Healthcare

What I particularly like is a 10 year plan with measurable milestones predetermined and associated with funding, as outcomes are what count & are objectively measurable..

All the rest is merely a means as to that end: timely , quality, cost effective care.

My guess, after some dickering a deal will be reached

It's simply a matter of priorities and after stories of denied entry for care resulting in unnecessary deaths abound,the priority of the moment for most Canadians is healthcare.

The issue is to insure any agreement is not Provincially breached.
