Harris Health board moves forward with plan to acquire part of Hermann Park for hospital expansion
The approval is one of the first steps in the county healthcare system's planned expansion of Ben Taub Hospital — one of the only level 1 trauma facilities in Harris County. The acquisition of park land from the City of Houston also would come before the Houston City Council and Harris County Commissioners Court.
