On December 13, 1986, Kuwasi Balagoon, an anarchist member of the Black Panthers and the Black Liberation Army, died of pneumocystis pneumonia.

In 1983, Balagoon stood trial for robbing 2 separate armored trucks, as well as the deaths of 2 cops and a rent-a-cop. He defended himself at trial. You can read his final sentencing statement in our book Defiance: Anarchist Statements before Judge and Jury. #HappyACABDay #1312always
