Thank you. I'm aware of the word, of “The SciFaiku Manifesto” (1995), and Tom Brinck. I appreciate his desire to write such #Poetry, but I also purposely don't use the word #Scifaiku. I have written very little #Haiku and plenty of what I call #Haikuesque. I decided on that name as those #Poems I write simply are neither haiku nor #Senryū, nor are they haiku with an added science-fictional colouring. I prefer using a name that's more explicit about the distinction.

I usually write my #Haikuesque and #Haiku in Spanish and then translate them into English, so the metrics differ in the translations. Therefore, when I post the related #SFPoems to be displayed via the #ScienceFictionPoetry hashtag, I include both languages.
Crystal screen,
