Letting someone walk free from jail by mistake is quite a fuck-up.

Also, the prison service has been seriously underfunded for years now.

Those 2 things may not be unrelated.

When systems are under-resourced, they will fuck things up, as sure as night follows day. This isn't rocket science.

So it's a bit rich for #BadEnoch to whine about how unacceptable it is when it was her party that cut all the budgets in the first place.
