Having been snippy about the quality of EPL officiating, I should point out that the quality in the Championship isn't much better. Alzate just tripped himself up, fell over, and grabbed the ball in both arms to stop a Middlesbrough player breaking. Then he took the ball away to stop them taking a quick free-kick. No card though (which he could have been given twice.)
(Also weird - Sky Sports puts the team abbreviations on-screen for Championship games but not Premier League games - they just get badges.)
