Hm, hard one. I don't think I've had that result in more than a decade.

There are two options that work, done correctly without fault.
One is for intermediate users, #HLookup 1), #VLookup, or #XLookup, the other for fairly advanced users, #PowerQuery 2).
(I'm assuming that copy and paste has not been a top choice for you either. 😉)
