allrite@Unixbigot Part of the problem is that transport policy assumes that users are reasonable. A large number of car drivers are fucktards. Quite a few of the (especially younger) bike/e-bike riders are fucktards in our area. Both neither give a thought to their safety or that of others.
Therefore, the only solution is a transport system that keeps people on the right track: Trains (and trams).
