I'm pleased to report today's discovery that #Guildford has its own official town Womble who promotes recycling.
Apparently Guildford the Womble has been with #GuildfordBoroughCouncil for decades and comes out on special occasions, such as #GreenDay today to mark the start of #BigGreenWeek.

Very, very pleased to announce that I've just been appointed Lead Member for Climate Change on the Executive of #GuildfordBoroughCouncil
I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in and to carrying on the good work begun by my predecessor Cait Taylor. The #ClimateEmegency is the most important crisis facing the world and I really hope I can play my own small part in making sure GBC does everything it possibly can to fight it.
