The one thing that's bugging me about Mastodon is the lack of quote toots. I read in the #GuideToMastodon that it's an anti-harassment feature, but to me it feels actually _polite_ to quote toot. Replying is entering the original conversation: if everyone does that the original poster is overwhelmed. Quote tooting is like starting a conversation about the topic, but with your friends.
