QuadTrack is a new groovebox for the Amiga (really), plus PC and Mac

It's the biggest Commodore Amiga news of the week: Pink Parrot Studio is launching a new "Dynamic Performance Sequencer" with powerful modulation and Trig Tools option, built for jamming right on the computer keyboard. And there's a music album to match. But don't worry: if you have one of those inferior PC or Macintosh machines, you can still get in on the fun with an emulator, no installation or setup required.
dadamachines tbd 16: a groovebox that's compact, capable, and open by design

Choose the engines and apps you want to use. And get them all on a compact, standalone device that rivals big-name competitors in a fraction of the […]
I love a good #groovebox. The #1010music bento has some amazing ideas in a smart form factor
A few turn offs though ... The hardware is tuned for size over robustness. I play live with a Korg minilogue module that would survive being run over by a car. How many times can you plug/unplug those tiny cables before the bentos tiny jack sockets wear out?
The firmware is reported buggy and unreliable. I can understand you don't want to open source your whole product. But ... https://forum.1010music.com/forum/products/bento/community/62512-make-bento-open-source
I'm building the clips and tracks up again with a more sensible methodical approach, not quite so slapdash and rushed. This is a good thing, because I want this tune to be the title track for my album later this year.
I decided to revisit one of my mothballed tunes to see if there's anything I can work with. I think there is, so I tried to find the sequences in my MC-707 or Keystep Pro.
I couldn't find them anywhere and couldn't remember how I had written them, which is.... a problem. Luckily, in an unexpected moment of foresight, I wrote down the names so I can at least find the sounds without going through hundreds of presets.
