The spring melt is going fast - and the polar day is helping it along...

And in case you think I only work in the most pristine of environments, here is a picture from this evening at my land snow study site, right next to the town dump... 😂

The birds also like to perch on our meteorological mast so the first task was a site clean up before the data downloads and digging could begin.
