A whole damn article by a learned historian, Joel Mokyr of Northwestern University, purporting to answer the pressing question of how Europe got so rich in the 18th Century, all without so much as mentioning the five continents they plundered, the millions they enslaved, the land and raw materials and precious metals they stole, and so on.

Given what he left out who cares what his theories are? Obviously they're wrong. Does anyone of good faith doubt that one of professors' main roles in capitalism is to lie to us authoritatively? Sheesh.
