I’ve had a pretty good day today. I got the jobs I wanted done including cleaning practically all the remaining silt from the back garden area, it looks so much better, not 100%, but close enough. I spent so much time outside I’m now all stuffed up in the head & will need Claratyne before bed or I’ll be sleeping sitting up 🫤.
A very good old friend came & had a cuppa & a chat. Then my daughter, granddaughter & grandson also came for a visit for an hour or so. Granddaughter went home with a tub of her mother’s childhood Star Castles & Polly Pocket toys much to her delight & cleared a space in the spare wardrobe. #GoodDay

I have 5 Easter eggs for my grandkids, I have 3 cute pairs of winter pjs for the smallest grandkids & had a lovely catch up & lunch out with my daughter.
Arrived home a couple of hours ago & my dinner in the slow cooker smells so yummy. Has around an hour to go until my lamb shanks & accompanying veg are finished. I want to have some broccoli & sweet potato with it.
I don’t often have lamb, I’m not really a huge fan, so I hope this is good 👍🏼. #GoodDay

A long sleep and no pain – I call that a win!

I must have slept for about 12 hours today. After several nights of extra short sleeps, this long one felt good.

To my utter delight, I did not wake up in pain as I often do when I long sleep. Furthermore, I woke up with minimal stiffness altogether. That’s a massive win when living with axSpA.

Today is a good day to be productive with the few hours that are left.

It's spring-ish today on the Canadian prairies, and while I was out running errands a car cruised by me in the parking lot. A little Acura coupe with the sunroof open, and a dog's head [1] sticking up out of it, loving the breeze, the smells, and the sights of all the people.

It was a good day.

[1] What looked like a cross between a husky and a border collie - pretty sure its IQ was higher than anyone in the US administration's cabinet.
