Licensed cruelty

I was reminded that today is the ‘(in)glorious 12th’ so in the next few day I expect to hear more bangs and to come across more injured birds during our runs and cycle rides.

A smidgeon of good news, thanks to the Scottish Green Party, which was instrumental in passing the Wildlife Management and Muirburn Act while in coalition government with the Scottish National party.

The glorious 12th isn't so glorious for grouse-shooting, now the act has come into effect. This cruel and environmentally damaging 'sport' has had its wings clipped.
