ABSOLUTE CHAOS IN OREGON DUNES
Multiview - Glamis Castle, Angus, 1961 - Valentine's RP Postcard
The Glamis Manse symbol stone, a remarkably impressive example of a Pictish cross slab measuring 2.8m (or over nine feet) high. it is very unusual in that it seems to have been carved in two stages, possibly at widely different times. The 1.5m high Hunters Hill Stone, a Pictish symbol stone in woods to the east of Glamis in Angus. It probably still stands where it was first erected and is carved with a cross on one side and a snake and two symbols on the other. The view from the south of the splendid Glamis Castle in Angus, as near a perfect Scottish castle as you could imagine. Never quite symmetrical from any angle, this is one of the most visually pleasing castles in Scotland. More pics and info: https://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/glamis/glamiscastle/index.html
