So I got access to #GithubBlocks and it's quite underwhelming. There's not even a list view for folder contents. That should be a given. And it doesn't look like it's supposed to be a part of GitHub.com at all, so the main appeal is kinda moot.
Experimenting with Polytope in #GithubBlocks!
#GithubBlocks look pretty cool: https://blocks.githubnext.com/
It's just ironic how proprietary Github itself is.

πŸ’‘What type of repo/file/folder visualization you would like to see directly on GitHub? Or what type of information is available but you’d like to embed it directly in your readme or some kind of dashboard?

🎨 Most of my team seems to be away next week (some US holidays or something) so maybe I’ll do some live-streaming on twitch showing how to build Block.

#GitHubBlocks

Building Blocks is most fun I had while developing dev tools in a long time, it brings me back to memories of initial preview of VSCode extension API.

I can't wait to see what will community create with it... it's always so excited to see creativity getting unleashed

#GitHubBlocks

Getting ready to flag people into #GitHubBlocks today! Sorry it's taking so long, but we're excited to get our first creators in to kick the tires and tell us how they feel about the UX

GitHub Blocks

New day, a new lunch break... and a new Block.

This time it's a Block to display a beautiful code walkthrough created with Code Hike directly in your interactive readme.

Build with  with #GitHubBlocks (by #GitHubNext)
