First rainy lazy Sunday in months, time for #baking. Finally tried a recipe for #GingerCookies that’s been in our cookbook pile for decades (from nearly 40 years ago in fact), happily my electric scales had an ounces mode and I can deal with degrees Fahrenheit.

Very good - as they should be, the top of the page boasted 250 people had tested the recipes over 6 weeks!

I rolled marble sized balls (up to 2cm diameter), giving about eighty ~4cm diameter cookies (almost seven trays of a dozen each)
