If you want do something re X this is my new habit.
Reply to e-mails displaying X in the footer:
"Please don't send me e-mails marketing X-corp by displaying their icon and a link to them."
We must make companies and organisations understand that there is a cost in lost goodwill and reputation. They have it there for marketing reasons, so if it has an adverse effect it can change their mind over time.
I see people are stirring up outrage with screenshots of old tweets, again 🙄
Seriously, folks, the timestamp is right there; November 14th, 2021.

Stop posting screenshots of Elon Musk being an ass on here. We all know he's an ass, we all know he’s a fascist.
If you want to get mad at something, there's plenty that is actually CURRENT, and happening RIGHT NOW.
Kick the fucking habit already.
It's strange to me how white people are still posting screenshots from the X formerly known as Twitter on here.
It is like they do not (wish to) understand that this continues to legitimise the nazi bar as a source of worthwhile takes, funny or otherwise.
Leave X, and delete your account.
Today is an excellent day to delete your account on the X formerly known as Twitter, if for some ridiculous reason you still have not left the nazi bar.
That means you too, journalists and politicians who claim they aren't collaborators.
And stop linking there, referring to it with screenshots, and so forth. It's the DOGE party propaganda platform, stop pretending it is still a reliable source for anything.
Don't think we don't notice that little Twitter or X icon still tucked away in some little corner of your website. It sends a signal, and not a positive one.
Rip. It. Out.
“A rise in online racism driven by fake images is ‘just the start of a coming problem’ after the latest release of X’s AI software, online abuse experts have warned.
Concerns were raised after computer-generated images created using Grok, X’s generative artificial intelligence chatbot, flooded the social media site in December last year.
Signify […] said it has seen an increase in reports of abuse since Grok’s latest update, and believes the introduction of photorealistic AI will make it far more prevalent.”
Leave X. Delete your account.

“As a business proposition, Elon Musk’s ownership of X, formerly known as Twitter, has so far been a disaster […]
As a political proposition, however, Musk’s purchase may turn out to be one of the shrewdest investments of all time. Every week, the platform seems to supercharge a news issue that comes to dominate conservative discourse – and often mainstream discourse, as well – with real political repercussions.”
Again; $44B to gain control of the platform and kill Twitter was cheap.
