Clueless tourism is happening even in a small coastal town in NSW. Famed for its surfing beach, Gerringong, was touted as a beautiful spot, and specifically one street to vist by some Tiktok #Influencer maniac.

Since then, every w/e, people come with change of clothes and vlogger gear to take vids of themselves in the street, in people’s front yards, some dorks even picnic on private front lawns, etc. The locals are getting so angry… these brain dead visitors don’t even spend money locally, they just make life miserable for the locals. I know some home owners in that street close up their houses and go elsewhere on w/e. It’s a curse.
