In guten sieben Stunden beginnt der #April2024ConnectAThon. Von heute um 14:00 bis Montag um dieselbe Zeit werden einige von uns versuchen, möglichst viele Profile auf #WikiTree anzulegen, die aber natürlich trotzdem halbwegs vernünftig belegt sein werden. Beim #January2024ConnectAThon haben unsere #GermanyGenies innerhalb der mittleren Division 2 den ersten Platz erstritten. Wir sind gespannt, ob es uns, trotz einiger Ausfälle, gelingen wird, dieses Ergebnis zu verteidigen.

Extensively stressed my couch to support #GermanyGenies during the challenge…Continued some work in the garden…autumn writes crosses into the sky and the last flowers are blooming…this inspires for new plans for next year's gardening…which the #Cat then decides to sit on or does she want to impact my planning ?…exhausted from that she found a place on the couch as well…the couch seems to beat the papers on the table in comfort.

FlominatorI was pretty ok with my decision to only be coach and cheerleader for the #GermanyGenies during #SourceAThon at #WikiTree for most of the 72 hours during this weekend. Just in the final two hours I would have loved to be a more active part of the whole madness. Being on three of the live hangouts on #YouTube together with @AncestryRoads et. al also was a very interesting experience.

Too many ongoing stuff made my weekend post late: my mothers birthday party plus baking and cooking in parallel #WikiTree #April2023ConnectAThon managed to add 270 #Geisinger to my running #OneNameStudy under the over 600 profiles created. Yes, all the invitees enjoyed the cake and dinner and were amused by that WikiTree nerd with iPad on the coffee table. #GermanyGenies Team made it to No1 in the normalized and No3 in absolute score #Celebrate

As announced before, I spent the last four days adding profiles to #WikiTree during the #April2023ConnectAThon together with @sidaba , @chuehn, @miezmutz, @Krapfenfrau, @Ahnen_LH, @athletespw, @sven, @YesItsColin et. al. It was a blast! #GermanyGenies were 3rd in total numbers of created profiles and 1st normalized (profiles created divided by number of team members). Thanks for joining and fighting, gals and guys, and thanks for hosting, @wikitree!
