We followed in the footsteps of the #Beothuk & #Shanawdithit yesterday. This is a tragic story of cultural extinction in #NewfoundlandLabrador. In the midst of the sadness of loss that the #sculpture that #GeraldSquires designed in their remembrance evokes, there is also of sense of peace here in the forest by the place where there was once an active Beothuk Village filled with the voices of their people.
