My afternoon was spent attending a panel hosted by #Women4Biodiversity, where the group presented their indicator and methodology for reaching #Target23 of the #KMGBF, and the plenary session of Working Group 1. The panel had very important information and ideas for the #GenderPlanofAction, while the plenary already had a rocky start when the wrong text was shared and when the appointment of the chair of the Contact Group was questioned. #biodiversity #COP16

There were a number of press conferences where different groups, including the CBD Women’s Caucus and the #IIFB, detailed their demands for the outcomes of #COP16. Recurring themes included human rights-based approaches, the #GenderPlanofAction, and #DSI. #biodiversity #kmgbf
