Really enjoyed the episode of #TedLasso that was set in the #Netherlands. I appreciate it when an American series casts actual #Dutch people and lets them speak the language, rather than have other Americans speak English with a weird German accent.
Was lovely seeing bits of #Amsterdam again (though Jamie and Roy really didn't have to cycle out of the city centre just to see a windmill...), and I admit it's made me a tad homesick…
Thanks #Dodger for mentioning this series on #GeekEnders podcast.
Watching #Geekenders and like
The entire thing about suffering from stale content feels so real and y'know it's really hard to contend with. Like I feel I'm kinda good at recognising it; I feel as soon as I'm bored of a game, my audience is bored of that game. It happened with SMTV - I was bored, no one was watching those streams anymore. It was a far cry from how hype like Devil Survivor felt.
And it's interesting in like. I don't know if I'm hitting a niche playing old Harvest Moon games, but it's felt less stale. Like I'm very aware - having played these games for years before - that you're watching a loop of me doing the same tasks. But I enjoy it, I feel like the viewers enjoy it.
However, I don't think I'm about to become a full time farming streamer because in the end, that'll just get stale. I think I need to balance the variety style.
