A friend didn't know what to do with kumquats.. so they gave me a bag of them 🍊 🍊

Marmalade made 👩‍🍳 (it smells divine) I'm just waiting for the lids to pop

Now what am I to do with 2kg of limes? Maybe chill lime cordial 🤔

I just bought new socks 😁 , the old ones were beyond darning

But WTAF there are left and right socks? (Marked on the socks)

What genius 😵‍💫 thought this was a good idea???

1. Before coffee I am incapable or discerning up and down, let alone left and right
2. Now I have to find my glasses to put socks on?
3. What about the sock warp in my washing machine

My brain is going to flip

I'll be taking them back as I don't need the hassle of demanding socks in my life

Life decisions have been made, when I retire my side hustle is going to be making bird toys and accessories 😂

G&T needed supplies - so online shopping (Qld Avairies) to order more food... ohh look cute flat perch, cute toys, forage tray etc

Food $20, other things $$$ 😂🤣

Lucky they are so cute 😍 🦕 🐦

I've been "saved" by the weather 😂🤣

The grass is a bit long and uneven and needs a light mow 🤷‍♀️
Oh woe is me, the minute I pulled the mower out of the garden shed it rained heavily. Guess I'll just sit here, drink a cup of tea and watch the grass grow 🌱

Happy Saturday.

It's a chilled morning here, watching the sunshowers through the patio doors... (note to self clean doors)

We are having a very wet dry season so far 😂🤣⛈️🌨🌨⛅️
This is one of our best growing seasons so the garden is loving the rain.

G&T are having a post breakfast nap and the only sound from them is the occasional contented beak grind/muttered tweet

Plans include some gardening, coffee with friends and the usual activities

I needed a bit of a break before getting back into ... so what a wonderful surprise to see that the Blue Tit eggs had hatched yesterday
Such cute little birds, such joy. Of you need a little pick-me up check out the nest box on @pgoodgame feed 🐦 🪺 , those little birds are going to be very busy little parents 😊

I've done stuff... but nothing seems to have been visibly achieved 🤷‍♀️

Well, the fridge contains staples
Dusting, floors, bathroom are passable
G&T have a sparkling clean cage
(the cage gets cleaned daily, bigger clean weekly, major clean every couple of months)

Now I am in need of a nap but G&T are calling every time I dissappear from their sight, maybe a beanbag where they can see me 🤔
