This weeks #Lego #FossilFriday is #Gargoyleosaurus
In 1995 the holotype was found by Western Paleontology Labs.
In 1998 Carpenter et al formally described and named it Gargoylesaurus.
Gargoylesaurus is one of the smaller nodosaurids, at only 3.5m long. It also stands less than 1m tall, making it about the size of a sheep, if that sheep had a long tail about the same length as the body of the sheep itself.
