For a little while as a child (~9 or 10yo), I thought only horses drank beer.

My parents didn't drink. We lived fairly isolated, on a country property, so I didn't really see beer being consumed. One time I saw someone feed a horse beer on a short news clip, so I thought that was normal.

In a carpool to a school event, schoolmate's dad said "Ah! I have to get a beer for Bob". I asked "Is Bob a horse?"

Looking back, I don't know how he didn't burst out laughing. 😂
