#FunADay late post: it is finished. it took roughly one month and around 6500 rings. I cannot imagine the tedium of doing a larger project than this so my plans of making a shirt are on hold indefinitely

So I didn’t pick up #FunADay again, but shit has been somehow even more stressful and hectic at work this year and I didn’t even have enough brain cells available to toot.

That said, I’m going to endeavour to toot more about fun reads throughout the year instead of just occasionally yelling at settlers to read The White Possessive (altho settlers should run not walk to get and read The White Possessive!!!).

I didn't do it every day but I really like picking records with the dice (even when I have to count/flip records up to 90 something) so I'm gonna keep this #FunADay thread alive but I'll change up the hashtag to #RollTheDice

I had two #crochet pieces in the #FunaDay LA popup show in Long Beach yesterday. My Book Blanket 2025 was displayed on an inflated mattress with a photo guide to show the original book covers involved; and handing on the wall above it, my "Facing the New Year" panel of twelve faces in squares.

#FunADay

I didn't post the past few days but it went really well for me this year. I start a lot of projects but I don't typically finish them, which I feel good about generally, but it's nice to have a complete thing to share.

This one was good because it was fun to play guitar guitar every day and I got to talk about it with people IRL.

I'm really happy with the arrangement, I think it's pretty much done. I will practice and perform it at open mic this month and then put the sheet music online and work on recording a performance for my friend's birthday.
