Arthur Itis#funaday day 6 - not super fun - scanned some sketchbook stuff for new commission and printed some sunsets for another poster which didn’t end up exactly how I thought - scans are ok, but the colours also aren’t super “it”
#funaday day 7 - worked mostly using the scans to make a commission which took too long and I’m still not totally satisfied but came to the conclusion that I should print and scan more. did some late night sketchbook and i think i liked plain more

#funaday day 9 - today also not … it … per se .., it’s just the start! but have worked a lot on new portfolio- and I will try to set more dedicated time tomorrow because I feel like this daily sketchbook practice helps with thinking and reflecting
#funaday day 10 - ended up not setting the time I thought I could away for this today today I think I literally had 2-3 minutes today in my sketchbook- used it to cover up a drawing from (art) therapy (which I guess was also today but doesn’t feel like sketchbook time) - not sure about using the text here esp in this composition but only time will tell how things unfold (in the notebook and in real life)
#funaday day 11 - I wrote the first draft of some text for an upcoming project (cross Canada online public access tv network or channel or something- still in like very early research phases) but working these thoughts out. Put it on top of some photocopy work from 2018(?) (I enjoyed making this print series so much) … I don’t necessarily like sharing text work especially before it’s been rinsed and washed and neutralized but alas for funaday sketchbook time maybe it’s ok to be vulnerable. Always nice to muse on broadcast/television, extra nice to express my anger towards ai generated slop without directly naming it (because lowkey AI is such an ugly word to bring up in a poem - sorry!)
#funaday day 15 - some days were missed … items were collected over these days but no “practice” - today I work on 3 separate spreads to maybe make up for it. Was going to do more but my printer is dying . None are done - last two were quite obviously just started
#FunADay day 16 - tried starting my day with just a little bit - super busy week ahead but maybe fitting it in at the beginning is best - still not the biggest fan of this but these things take time so I shall let it sit for now
#FunADay day 20 - I fell off again for a couple days (I did one on the 17 but don’t feel like sharing) this collage not in sketchbook… but in frame! Doesn’t feel done necessarily but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ wished I moved the sugar free gum/plastic bag/car crash situation a little closer to the bingo cards but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ …. This one’s abt things featured on local news

#FunADay day 21 and 22
Assembled some stuff on Saturday and made a comic and put the papers together today (the comic is secret) also ate a bit of blueberry “fantasy” marshmallow
#FunADay day 23 - no sketchbook today 😧 - brought it to work w me to carve out some drawing time but instead it was look at image o’clock - got some film back and here’s some shots for pleasure from Philadelphia (completely unedited - which is not always how I share ) (last one was nye in nyc)!
#funaday day 25 (this one’s from yesterday) just started it and fucked up so much info being distracted and wasn’t a fan of the type so I drew a pumpkin and will maybe draw a castle … idk! lol! Fun little drawing time - just happy to have made some time to draw amongst grant hell
#funaday day 27 not in sketchbook but made card (cut off pieces will be put into sketchbook) and printed flowers (will also go in sketchbook)
#funaday day 28 - another particularly painful February for the books - new spread and added to two previous ones with scraps I found from the stuff I was storing outside my exes old place and more stuff obviously
