On one side I am happy that the world watches closely what the fucking Chinese government is planning against Taiwan. Yet, it feels a bit sad that all headlines have to mention the global supply chain for chips etc.
Which makes it clear once more: No one would give a fuck about Taiwan if it were not for their unique global position in the chip industry.
Neither the human factor counts, nor the (human) rights violations spark outcry but the prospect of losing technology. #Taiwan #fuckCCP

I was joking about #China's #CCP outlawing #A4paper to stem the protests against its nonsensical #ZeroCovid policies.
Guess what? Taobao is now NOT home-delivering A4 paper in #Shanghai and #Beijing. They do deliver in Guangzhou however., which is strange since there have been #protests there as well.

And yes: the police is "visiting" protesters at home, beat them up in their own apartment and then arrest them.

More brutal breaches of #humanrights.

A Chinese freelance developer was send to prison for 456 days because he participate developing software which was used in a illegal lottery business.
After 456 days imprisonment, he went out and wrote all his experiences down. His blog attracted much attention and then disappeared two days after.
I don't know Chinese law (Does it exist?) But fortunately I didn't close my browser and snapshot it. I post it here. Everyone can have his Hamlet.
