#AI Is here to stay, they say.
Thousands are being laid off to AI already in the US, and it's a matter of time that happens in Europe too. Even in small companies. Soon there will be a massive number of unemployed individuals unable to find a job and pivot to other careers, as those will also be automated by AI.
That's why I propose the creation of #FrontierAITax
A tax that every business paying for AI needs to pay to the state.
A tax that increases often, even in a monthly basis if needed. The faster the adoption of AI and the faster the acceleration in its capabilities, the more expensive it gets and the more often it is increased. My proposal is that it starts at 100%, and duplicates every 4 months or so. It can be adjusted, it's just a proposal.
In a short time we can see rates of 1600%, turning a 20€ AI subscription into a human salary worth in tax, collected by the state and used to finance a basic income for those unenployed and unable to become productive again.
If we are going to burn the planet and take the jobs from the people, let's do it in a way that does't abandon people to nothingness.
