The Frequently Used GAL4 Drivers Table resource is now the Frequently Used GAL4 and Other Binary System Drivers Table http://flybase.org/GAL4/freq_used_drivers/.

We've added all lexA drivers that have been curated to at least 15 research papers (in addition to all GAL4 drivers attached to at least 20 papers). Most of the lexA drivers include representative images.

You can access this resource from the GAL4 etc QuickSearch tab.

With FB2024_03, we added 150 more images to the #FrequentlyUsedGAL4DriversTable http://flybase.org/GAL4/freq_used_drivers/. This resource now includes 337 GAL4 alleles: the 150 most-ordered from @bdsc.bsky.social &/or those used in at least 20 publications. Over 90% of alleles in the table now have images.
You can access the resource from the FlyBase homepage using the #GAL4etc #QuickSearch tab.
We collected images from papers distributed with a Creative Commons license or from journals that granted us permission.

If you have an unpublished GAL4 image in your files representing an allele without an image (or that is better or more representative than the published image we found), you can send it to us (we will credit you). The 'Contact FlyBase' link on the #FrequentlyUsedGAL4DriversTable goes straight to the curator who maintains it.
