Presentation & Panel: GERMANY vs. The ULM5

With family members and attorneys of the Ulm5

In advance of their trial in Stuttgart starting this spring, the Ulm5 will be the subject of a presentation and panel discussion comprising family members visiting from the UK and Ireland as well as Berlin-based attorneys and comrades.

The five friends have been held in pre-trial detention since September 2025 for their activism against Elbit Systems and its role in the Gaza genocide.

Expect an overview from legal and everyday perspectives, including the prisoners’ mistreatment, ways to show solidarity, and what to expect in the coming months as the court considers the case.

🗣 The Ulm5 event will be held in English. If needed, whisper translation into Arabic or German can be arranged – please DM us in advance or approach us at the event before the presentation starts.

♿️ The event hall is on the ground floor with no steps. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet.

Mit Familienangehörigen und Anwält*innen der Ulm5

Im Vorfeld ihres Prozesses in Stuttgart, der im Frühjahr beginnt, werden die Ulm5 Gegenstand einer Präsentation und Podiumsdiskussion sein, an der Familienangehörige aus Großbritannien und Irland sowie in Berlin ansässige Anwält*innen und Genoss*innen teilnehmen werden.

Die fünf Freunde befinden sich seit September 2025 in Untersuchungshaft wegen ihres Aktivismus gegen Elbit Systems und dessen Rolle beim Völkermord in Gaza.

Es wird einen Überblick aus rechtlicher und alltäglicher Perspektive geben, einschließlich der Misshandlung der Gefangenen, Wege Solidarität zu zeigen, und einen Ausblick darüber, was in den kommenden Monaten zu erwarten ist, in denen das Gericht über den Fall entscheidet.

Discussion: Staying political despite and whilst in prison?

Freedom for all political prisoners! A discussion about prison and solidarity.

A panel discussion (2–4pm) on the experiences of imprisonment and the question of how one can act politically in and around prison.

Followed by a letter-writing session for prisoners with coffee, cake, music and a bookstall from 4pm to 6pm.

Freiheit für alle politischen Gefangenen! Gespräch über Knast und Solidarität.

Ein Podiumsgespräch (14—16Uhr) zu den Erfahrungen von Gefangenschaft und der Frage, wie man im und um Knast politisch handeln kann.

Mit anschließendem Briefe Schreiben an Gefangene mit Kaffee, Kuchen, Musik und Büchertisch 16—18Uhr.

Wir sprechen als Rote Hilfe Berlin mit einer Person mit Erfahrung politischer Gefangenschaft in der Türkei und einer Person des Solikreises um die Ulm5.

🔥Der 18. März ist der Kampftag für alle politischen Gefangenen.🔥

Letzte Woche waren wir auf der Straße gegen Polizeigewalt. Polizeigewalt, staatliche Repressionen und Unterdrückung - alles keine Einzelfälle und Teil des gleichen Systems.
So sitzen überall auf der Welt Menschen im Knast, die sich gegen Faschismus und Unterdrückung wehren.
Von Budapest über Palästina bis in die deutschen Knäste und Abschiebelager - wir fordern: Freiheit für alle politischen Gefangenen.✊🏻✊🏽✊🏿

Wenn ihr die Menschen unterstützen wollt, spendet an Gruppen wie die Rote Hilfe und 3ezwa, schreibt Briefe an die Gefangenen und seid laut auf den Straßen!
