Difficulties with #FreeTAFE: the sector is under-resourced & needs better facilities & more teachers (fixible, but needs States’ money & is not a quick political win); & from the private providers & corporatised university sector, it will take away from our market share (transparent self interest but consistent with ideologies of most mainstream media).

Imagine if we’d not allowed decades of ‘government services bad, private sector good’ #neoliberal fictions to defund & erode our public institutions in the first place place. Sigh. #AusPol
