Darkness RISING Project Block Party Moves to Earlier Time at Moore Square Due to Weather Forecast

The Darkness RISING Project is making a schedule adjustment for its upcoming community block party in Downtown Raleigh. Due to the forecast and possible rain later in the day, organizers have moved the event earlier to help keep attendees comfortable while still delivering the same high-energy experience.

The updated event time is now 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Moore Square.

Attendees can still expect an exciting day filled with:

  • Live music
  • Dancing
  • Local vendor shopping
  • Community connections
  • Positive energy and celebration

Organizers are encouraging the community to help spread the word about the time change.

“Same amazing party, just a different time.”

The Darkness RISING Project continues to create uplifting community-centered experiences that bring people together through culture, music, and joy in the heart of Raleigh.

If you’re looking for something fun and community-driven to do this weekend in Downtown Raleigh, this block party is shaping up to be a great way to connect with neighbors, support local vendors, and enjoy the atmosphere at one of the city’s most popular gathering spaces.

Tell a friend to tell a friend — and make plans to head to Moore Square early for the celebration.
